Holding on to the Good Moments

Autism is not always about rejoicing in the new gains we have made. Some days start like today… at 3 AM… with a loud scream that wakes the entire house… that results in another child getting physically aggressive (violently attacking Mom and himself)… Being in an Autism family (whether you are the child with Autism, the parent, or the sibling) daily life is exhausting, confusing, and emotionally draining. The only way to cope is by holding onto the good moments.
